Doin’ the Louvre 42 — Pop-Up Edition was a fantastic fundraiser and a wonderful celebration of local art and creativity. Hosted in the Dry Goods Gallery pop-up at the Chance Coffee window (1012 Drouillard Rd), the show transformed the space into a vibrant and engaging art experience. The exhibition featured 19 incredible artists and 50 unique artworks, bringing together a diverse range of styles and voices while supporting a great cause. It was truly inspiring to see the community come together to celebrate art, connection, and generosity. A big thank you to everyone involved for making this event such a success!

ACWR Mistletoe & Snow
I was happy to have three paintings included in the Arts Council Windsor & Region Mistletoe & Snow Members Exhibition & Sale, which took place from November 25 to December 5, 2025 at ArtSpeak Gallery. The exhibition featured over 100 artworks from our local creative community, all available for purchase. The closing reception was held on Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 7–9 PM, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the artists and the season.

AWE Art for All: 2025 Art Sale
Art for All at Art Windsor-Essex was a wonderful celebration of creativity and community. The 2025 AWE Art Sale brought together an inspiring selection of juried works by contemporary artists from Windsor-Essex and surrounding regions, beautifully installed in AWE’s gallery spaces overlooking the Detroit River. It was truly special to see so many people come out to support local artists while also contributing to the important programs at Art Windsor-Essex. I was very happy and grateful to participate in this meaningful event—thank you to AWE for the opportunity and for continuing to champion art that is truly for all.
The Reception was on Thursday, December 4th 2025 7-9pm.
Painting Progress - Large Black & White Painting
Progress on my large black, white, and grey painting.
Lately, I’ve been adding fine white vertical lines to emphasize and highlight the textures underneath. The lower part will become much darker and richer in black to ground the piece. As I work, the palette knife creates unexpected lines and layers that add depth and movement—it feels almost like the painting is guiding me where to go next.
Each day when I look at it, I notice something new—shapes, forms, emotions I hadn’t seen before. It’s a slow unfolding process, and I’m really enjoying where it’s taking me. Thank you for following along and for your continued interest in my work. 🖤🤍🎨
