Solo Art Show by Nora Harvey
My Solo Art Show Reception was at SHŌ Art, Spirit & Performance
on Friday, September 30th 2022 between 7:00pm-11:00pm.
I was working over this past year on a wonderful new collection of abstract paintings with the theme of dreamlike movement, multi-color, black & white and so much more that is up to your imagination.
This was a FREE event with many friends and relatives.
SHÅŒ Art, Spirit & Performance gathers artists dedicated to the interplay of art, spirit and performance. This multi-disciplinary approach welcomes painters, poets, sculptors, musicians, actors… allowing each artist to innovate, collaborate, produce and present art across all creative borders.
ALSO!!! my paintings were available during the
Open Studio Tour when I was doing a demonstration
on Saturday and Sunday, October 1st and 2nd 2022 between 10:00am-5:00pm.

I worked over the past year of 2021 on a wonderful new collection of abstract paintings with the theme of landscape, forest, waterfall and so much more that was up to your imagination.
Chapter Two is an amazing working Brewery in Walkerville that provides a variety of beers and great food as well and it was a fantastic large space for this event!

A new and exciting Solo Exhibition, "Consciousness Through Elements" by Nora Harvey, local contemporary artist,
opened on October 1st. 2019
Held at the Arts Council Windsor & Region - ArtSpeak Gallery
loceted at 1942 Wyandotte St E, Windsor, ON N8Y 1E4.
The exhibition featured more than 22 paintings with the Reception on:
Saturday, October 5th 2019 between 7:00-11:00pm.
In the exhibition: "Consciousness Through Elements", Nora represented a collective way of living one's life that is influenced and determined by all the surrounding elements. By observing and studying the lower elements one can reach to a higher collective consciousness where love is what it is; ergo finding peace.
Nora's paintings reflected on these singular elements...Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space, Void, Consciousness...provoking thoughts and feelings as we observe and connect with them.
The "Consciousness Through Elements" art exhibition surprised the gallery visitors with the textured surfaces, colourful accents, finishing touches inspired with the movement of contemporary creation through a multitude of influences and inspirations.

of the Walkerville Night Market in 2019.
The Night Market brought in many visitors and clients.

My show was entitled, “Awakening Woodland Winter" and featured several large original oil and acrylic paintings. My paintings were textured, vibrant and full of colour and centered around the theme of Impressionistic Landscapes and the style of Group Of Seven.
Donations of hats, mittens and scarves were collected for The Windsor Youth Centre!
